The Shepherding of the Lord II
Some of us approach the table of the Lord with high expectations others by traditions, and every time we celebrate this act of faith the service becomes more solemn and there is no question its reasons; however the Communion is a type of judgment and not necessarily of bad things. As we saw in the previous study, this judgment is more than an act where we are weighted; it is an act in which we are measured. During the Communion we are voluntarily put on the balance or scale and depending on the side it inclines it could be good or bad-m as an analogy we can compare it when a doctor takes the patience weight, getting worried if the weight is out of the standards of normal corporal weight, because it could be a symptom of some kind of illness.
The Shepherding of the Lord I
The Lord has come to reveal the things to come, and these things will come because there is a biblical principle that says where sin is abundant grace will overabundant. This makes us think that when there is extreme suffering, sin and tribulation, God will always pour all the good things, and what will come to this planet and habitants, over all in this tetrad that will be over in 2015, is very terrible, because we have seen that in the last three tetrads affected Israel; the 1942 tetrad started on February with an edict from the kings of Spain where they expelled all the people from Israel from Spain and the ones who didn’t follow it and turned to Catholicism were burned and staked. In 1948, one of the most extraordinary miracles happened, since this year the nation of Israel was born. The next tetrad happened in 1967, it was the war of the 6 days, where Israel was attacked on betrayal but at the end the Lord blessed them and conquered Jerusalem and for the first time they prayed in their spiritual capital. The other tetrad 2014-2015, that will take place in a week and in 2015 the other two will continue, and then we will have another in 500 years.
The Day of the Weigh
God offers us the opportunity to recognize Him as King and Savior so His knowledge of truth can come over our life, that's why we can't say that we don't know God or that we couldn't receive the opportunity to be saved. On that same way, the Bible explains in the book of Ecclesiastes that to all of us the misfortune day will come; it means that at any moment we will face testing from God that will measure us. For example boxers are heavy people, before their fight against their rival, to verify that they have the right weight; as the sons of The Lord, we will be measured to see if we have given the size that The Lord longs us to have.
The Great Escape
1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJ2000 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
The things which will come to the inhabitants of the earth and that are described in the Revelation Book are terrible; however, the Lord in His infinite mercy and goodness for us, is letting us know of these dangers and is letting us see them through signs; in the heavens as well as the earth, how close are we for the beginning of the judgments of God; and this with the purpose that we can prepare and we can escape from them.
Elijah, the Restorer
One of the reasons for what we gather in the house of the Lord, is to be restored; but it is also to acquire knowledge about the Prophetic Word and which are the blessings that the Lord has decreed for our lives, all this with purpose of being prepared to receive what we want. On the other hand, we are being prepared as the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ and be caught up.
Today, as part of the wave of deceives of the enemy, is being internationally diffused a false doctrine, which establishes that the Lord cannot return if all things are not restored first and for the same reason the parousia is quite away to happen, notwithstanding, when we read the Scriptures and analyze it under the revelations that the Holy Ghost gives us, we realize that the bible talks to us about the time of restoration of all things and about the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is actually talking about the second come but not about the parousia.
The Antidote against the False Altars
The altar is the ultimate tool in the last stage of our transformation to become temples and from temples to palace; now well, the enemy of our soul will try to contaminate the altar we build for the Lord; how he will do is to make us build altars that God dislikes. The Bible shows us several examples of people that built altars that the Lord didn’t like and also it shows us the antidote against these altars.
ESV 2 Kings 16:1-4 In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, Ahaz the son of Jotham, king of Judah, began to reign. 2 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the eyes of the LORD his God, as his father David had done, 3 but he walked in the way of the kings of Israel. He even burned his son as an offering, according to the despicable practices of the nations whom the LORD drove out before the people of Israel. 4 And he sacrificed and made offerings on the high places and on the hills and under every green tree.
The Altars to Demolish - II -
We have been talking about the importance of the altar that we must build for the Lord so our body be transformed from tabernacle to temple of the Lord and be prepared for its final transformation, which is of an eternal palace. This is the glorified body that Jesus had after He resuscitated and He was able to cross walls.
In order to build this altar before we must demolish the altars we might have inside of us; those altars that don’t belong to God. We know that the people from Israel is figure for us and the instructions they got are for us as well.
ESV Exodus 34:12-13 Take care, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you go, lest it become a snare in your midst. 13 You shall tear down their altars and break their pillars and cut down their Asherim…
The Altars to Demolish - I -
The Lord has opened a new dimension, altar wise, so we being spirit with a body, when coming to this World, our body became a grave since our spirit was dead. When our spirit becomes alive, our body becomes a prison (Luke 4:18) so we need to find The Deliverer so our body becomes a tabernacle, a house or a tent; and the next level to reach in our body is to become temple of the Holy Spirit in order to become temple we must have an altar (2 Corinthians 5:1). And the last level we will reach is palace.
The Ministry of the Altar I
Acts 6:1-4 LONT Now, in these days, the number of the disciples being multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Hellenists that is, Jews who used the Greek language against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministrations. And the twelve, having called the multitude of the disciples together, said, It is by no means agreeable, that we should leave the word of God to attend tables; therefore, brethren, look out from among yourselves seven men of an attested character, full of spirit and wisdom, whom we may set over this business; we will constantly attend to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Serving the tables, it’s not the same as the service to the Altar, because to serve the tables does not involve any spiritual burden, and in these verses we can read that those were men full with the Holy Spirit, wise, and with great reputation, because they had to give food and administer money. They had to dedicate themselves to the organization of the church, so the Apostles could dedicate to prayer and the study of the Word, which is the Ministration of the Altar.
The Blooded Lintels
Exo 12:13 KJ2000 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
God ordered to the people of Israel to take a hyssop dip in the blood of the lamb that had previously scarified and mark the lintels and the two side posts of the doors of their houses, because when the angel of destructor passes by it would not come into their houses, it is probable that for the people of god it was an understandable order but in spite of it, the obeyed the order.
That commandment is also for us, as church of the Lord, because it is necessary that we spread the lintels of our houses with His Blood to avoid the destructor to come in.
